Position Summary:
The Director of Development advances the mission of Carle Health - Central Illinois Foundation by increasing the level of philanthropic support from donors and prospects. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of gift prospects through identification, qualification, cultivation and solicitation of unrestricted and restricted gifts that may be current or planned. Additionally, manages the annual employee giving campaign and assists with events as needed. The Director of Development reports directly to the VP of the Foundation and works collaboratively with Foundation the staff with the special responsibilities for planning and implementing a program to identify, cultivate and solicit donors with the ability to make major annual gifts, special project gifts and planned gifts.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in in communication, marketing, or related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience within healthcare with progressive responsibilities
