Position Summary:
Under supervision, the Lead CT Technologist oversees technical procedures, patient care and work flow in CT area to ensure safe and effective patient care. Performs computerized axial tomography procedures utilizing various imaging equipment and contrast material. Prepares and administers contrast material based on Carle policies and procedures. Responsible for initial and annual training and competencies.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Certificate in Radiologic Technology or Diploma (Not HS) in Related Field
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
IEMA Radiography License upon hire and Radiography (R)(ARRT) upon hire or Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (NMTCB) upon hire and Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT) within 1 year and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Two (2) years Healthcare/Medical - Radiology. Demonstrated technical expertise in radiology.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment. Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
