The Opportunity:
Join a growing Home Care and Hospice team and oversee the Champaign-Urbana region. This position is responsible for overseeing the two southern branches (Champaign & Olney), 133 employees with 9 director reports, provides services in 22 of the 31 counties and averages 400 Home Health patients and 100 hospice patients daily.
The Director- Home Care & Hospice is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining programs, policies, and management systems to promote efficient and effective delivery of high quality care and to maintain financial viability of home health and hospice business units. Provides supervision and management of clinical programs providing 24/7 customer focused service delivery, and ensuring high quality, cost effective services that lead to best practice performance with maximum and timely reimbursement.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Related Field
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License Illinois, if degree is in Nursing upon hire and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and National Nursing Certification if RN within 3 years.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) years leadership and at least five (5) years proven, progressive healthcare or related management experience, preferably within a home health/hospice Medicare certified and accredited agency. Demonstrated record of goal achievement and successfully taking on increased responsibility with positive results.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight. Strong business and financial acumen. Independent and sound decision making and creative thinking skills. Dependable with the ability work well under pressure and within strict timeframes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to grow and mentor staff. Organized and responsive. Ability to hold oneself and others accountable.
