Position Summary:
Carle Environmental Services Shift Coordinators are to serve as Leaders within the Environmental Services Department at Carle at the Fields. The Coordinator role is a critical position for the Environmental Services Department. They will be responsible for delegating tasks to staff under managerial guidance.

None Required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Two (2) years in a related field. Must be experienced in OR, Clinical and office enviroments EVS Tech job functions.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrates Leadership qualities, good communication and time management skills preferred. Must have the ability to read, write, and converse in the English language Must be physically able to manually move furnishings and equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning techniques. Needs Basic computer Skills

Essential Functions:

  • Assists EVS Leadership on a daily basis and assumes responsibility for the shift when no EVS Leadership is present.
  • Gather monthly Quality Assurance data via GloCheck testing and Quality inspections
  • Validating work completed
  • Reports maintenance problems to maintenance department via work orders
  • Cover critical staff shortages and perform regular housekeeping duties as needed at a superior level
  • Participate in interviewing, Provide new hire Orientation, training and follow up training. Also gives input towards the 3 month evaluation
  • Inventory housekeeping supplies for order
  • Lead team huddles as directed
  • Service Recovery
  • Willing to attend Leadership classes
  • Follows written department goals and objectives, and review annually with department leadership.
  • Cover shifts as needed
  • Assists EVS Leadership on a daily basis and assumes responsibility for the shift when no EVS Leadership is present.
