Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly professional, motivated, and compassionate Medical Technologist to join our team. This professional will perform and evaluate complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic and bacteriological procedures. This individual will be responsible for timely communication of test results to other members of the health care team as appropriate.
The Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Care Center Laboratory has the privilege of serving patients in our Emergency Department, Medical Surgical Inpatient Unit, and Outpatient Phlebotomy Center, as well as multiple rural health clinics and nursing homes throughout the region.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Lab Science. New grads must provide documentation of degree in Medical Laboratory Science within twelve (12) weeks of hire.
We will also accept an Associates in Medical Lab Technology.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) within 1 year or Medical Laboratory Scientist (AMT) within 1 year or Medical Technologist (ASCP) within 1 year or Medical Technologist (AMT) within 1 year.
